Eligibility

  • Students who wish to continue studies upon graduation with Japanese universities, graduate schools, or technical colledge.
  • Mastery of advanced Japanese skills
  • Students who have completed at least 12 years of formal education
  • Students who have completed equivalent studies to those of Japanese Secondary I.Schools who are clearly devoted to studying abroad..
  • Students who have sufficient financial resources to successfully complete their studies..

Personal Documentation

  • Purpose of Study Form to be hand-written by student on Official School Application Form.(Note: Please write clearly and legibly.)
  • Resume. Purpose of study/why you want to study to be hand-written by student on Official School Form. (Note: Please write clearly and legibly.)
  • Original Diploma from Educational Institution representing highest completed academic level of student OR official transcripts.
  • Copy of main passport page.(for those who have visited Japan, all pages bearing Japanese immigration stamps should be copied as well.)
  • 4 photos taken within last six month period.( Length 4cm. x Width 3cm.)
  • Certificate of current enrollment.(to be supplied by those students who are currently enrolled in Educational Institution)
  • Certificate of 5kyuu (Level 5) of Japanese Language Proficiency Test OR Certificate from Educational Institution stating that student has completed at least 160 hours of Japanese Language study.

Students who are independently financing their own Tuition and Fees.

  • Certificate of Scholarship if applicable.
  • Certificate of current bank account balance.
  • Certificate of Current Employment.
  • Certificate/Proof of income for latest 3 year period.

Students who receive funding (bank transfers) from family members

  • Statement of financial support.(Official School Form only)
  • Certificate of current bank balance.
  • Certificate of source of funds. (Copy of bank book, passbook, etc)
  • Certificate of current employment.
  • Certificate/Proof of Income latest 3 year period.
  • Place of Family Registry, Birth Certificate, Family Registry.
  • Certificate of Relationship to person(s) responsible for tuition and fees..When funds cannot be transferred from home country, they must be transferred from person in other country.

Students whose tuition and fees are paid by other person currently living in Japan.

  • Person responsible for tuition and fees will complete Official School form.(this to be hand-written)
  • Taxation Certificate OR Final Income Tax Return (for those self-employed) for last 3 years.
  • Certificate of current employment OR Company Registration.(for those self-employed)
  • Certificate of Resident Registration.
  • Family Registry (All members of residence./In the case of foreigners, the Certificate of Foreign Registration.)
  • Certificate of bank account balance.
  • Copy of bank book/passbook.

 

Note: Above documents must have been issued within the last three months.

Admission process from application to entrance into School.

  • STEP 01 Fill in and complete Purpose of Study Form and Resume Form
  • STEP 02Send Mail, Resume Form, and other documents to IKUSHU INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGE ACADEMY.
  • STEP 03Admission examination.
  • STEP 04Once approved, applicant will be sent Letter of Admission.
  • STEP 05Documentation will then be submitted to the Japanese Immigration Office for approval.
  • STEP 06Immigration Office provides Certificate of Eligibility.
  • STEP 07We will inform student of decision of Immigration Office.
  • STEP 08Once we has verified transfer/payment of funds including admissions fee, facilities fee, tuition fee, application fee (and housing fees where applicable), we will send to Certificate of Eligibility.
  • STEP 09Submit your Certificate of Eligibility and Ikushu Certificate of Admission to Japanese Embassy or Japanese Consulate.
  • STEP 10Visa is granted by Japanese Embassy or Japanese Consulate.
  • STEP 11With hope in your hearts, let’s go to Japan!
